60TH AIR MOBILITY WING COMMANDER

 

COLONEL JOHN M. KLEIN

Col. John Klein is the commander of the 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California. As commander, he is responsible for the combined efforts of all operations and support activities associated with the worldwide air mobility mission. The C-5, KC-10, and C-17 assigned aircraft participate in air, land and aerial refueling taskings, responding to Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed combat operations, and supporting U.S. State Department-sponsored humanitarian relief efforts worldwide. Col. Thomas C. Pauly is the vice commander, 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California. As vice commander, he serves as assistant to the commander for the combined efforts of all operations and support activities associated with the worldwide air mobility mission. CHIEF MASTER SGT. STEVE A. NICHOLS

Chief Master Sgt. Steve A. Nichols is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California. He is the primary advisor to the commander on matters concerning the morale, welfare, health and discipline of more than 5,100 enlisted men and women. The wing is responsible for conducting operations and support activities associated with the worldwide air mobility mission. The wing's assigned aircraft include the C-5, KC-10 and C-17. These airframes participate in air, land and aerial refueling taskings, responding to Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed combat operations, and support U.S. State Department-sponsored humanitarian relief efforts worldwide. Continue reading...
