Chief Master Sergeant Keith M. Scott

Chief Master Sergeant Keith M. Scott serves as the Command Chief for the 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California. He leads the wing’s enlisted force and serves as the principle advisor to the 60th Air Mobility Wing Commander for the combined efforts of all wing operations and support activities associated with the worldwide air mobility mission. The C-5M Super Galaxy, KC-10 Extender, C-17 Globemaster III and KC-46A Pegasus aircraft assigned to Travis AFB participate in airlift and aerial refueling taskings, responding to Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed combat operations and supporting U.S. State Department-sponsored humanitarian relief efforts worldwide. Chief Scott is also charged with ensuring the effective utilization, training, development, and readiness of more than 26,100 active-duty, Reserve, civilian personnel, and their families.

Chief Scott hails from Jacksonville, Florida, and entered the Air Force in 1997. His assignments include bases in Japan, Portugal, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Colorado, Virginia and Texas. Chief Scott has also deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. The chief has filled multiple roles throughout his career to include command chief and superintendent for various medical groups and squadrons as well as the superintendent for the Airman and Family Readiness Center. The chief also spent two years as an international military student officer at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as the Command Chief, 72nd Air Base Wing, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
