TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Security forces Airmen from the 60th Air Mobility Wing and the 821st Contingency Response Group honored 13 fallen defenders with a memorial ruck march May 15, 2020, at Travis AFB. The event took place during National Police Week, which dates back to 1962 when President John F. Kennedy declared May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day. The week is focused on honoring law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
