David Grant USAF Medical Center - Flight Medicine Clinic

DGMC's Flight Medicine Clinic (Flt Med) is comprised of dedicated professionals that support the readiness mission for the wing by ensuring a medically ready force, and by providing quality medical care to our entire
empanelment.

Flt Med Staff:
6 Flight Surgeons
1 Physician Assistant
1 Nurse Practitioner
2 Registered Nurses
2 IDMTs (Independent Duty Medical Technician)
8 Medical Technicians

Flt Med provides primary care to all flying or special operations duty personnel and their empanelled dependents, including Preventative Health Assessments (PHA), physical examinations, minor surgeries, and consultations to specialty services. We also provide physical examinations for non-enrolled patients assigned to the Occupational Health Program and to non-enrolled patients requiring Flying Class Physicals. Flt Med also provides acute and follow up care to non-empanelled patients (including civilians and contractors) who sustain occupational health injuries. Active duty family medical care is provided to dependents from 13 years of age to geriatric.

General Administrative Information: Records are reviewed by our Medical
Technicians prior to PHA appointments.

Return to fly patients do not need an appointment. Flyers will likely be
returned to flying status if you answer YES to the following questions:

Have your symptoms improved since your last visit?
Are you reporting to Flt Med to return to your flight duties?
Are you currently not taking any medications?
Are you able to clear your ears?
Have you been DNIF less than 10 days?
If you answered NO to the following questions, please call Flt Med to book a follow up appointment.

DGMC's Flight Medicine Clinic does not have Sick Call Hours. For new onset of symptoms please call for an appointment. For emergency issues call 911 or report to the Emergency Department.
