The Patient Advocate office assists customers in resolving concerns with healthcare or customer service at David Grant USAF Medical Center. This is accomplished by opening lines of communication between staff and customers and investigating pertinent issues to expedite resolve and improve customer service.
Each clinic within the medical facility has a Patient Advocate representative readily available to address patient concerns. DGMC is committed to addressing all feedback related to patient care programs and services. Input regarding care from patients, their advocates, or visitors provides valuable information which can be applied to improve service and care processes. Our goal is to ensure our beneficiaries receive the world-class healthcare and customer service they deserve.
The 60th Medical Group's Patient Relations Coordinator is your point of entry into DGMC for patients or their advocates to express concerns, complaints or messages of thanks regarding patient care. The Patient Relations Coordinator will take a lead role in facilitating the internal review process with a focus on client relations, information sharing and conflict resolution.
We would be pleased to share any messages of thanks with our physicians and staff. Messages of appreciation and gratitude will be acknowledged and forwarded to the care provider(s) involved in your care, as well as their supervisor or manager.

Outpatient clinic questionnaires are now managed by a Department of Defense contractor. Additionally, some clinics have their own questionnaires.
Questions regarding customer service are asked via telephone by the contractor to a random number of patients seen in each clinic. The results are reported to the medical center commander. DGMC encourages you to answer these surveys and let us know what you think, positive or negative. Your opinions will help us put and keep our customers (that's you) first, and maintain the quality health care you deserve!
