A C-17 from March Air Reserve Base, Calif., takes off during the aerial demonstration portion of the “C-17s Are Coming” event here June 2. To showcase the aircraft’s capabilities, the C-17 took off at a 25-degree incline. More than 300 base and local community members attended the event.
