Fundraiser supports Travis families
Runners participate in Kassi’s Kause MPS Walk/Run May 30 at Travis. Travis LifeWorks along with Balfour Beatty Communities hosted the run honor in of Travis family members Kassi Offenbacker, Mia Pruett and John Thornton all affected by Mucopolysaccharidoses, a fatal disorder caused by the body’s inability to produce specific enzymes resulting in tissue and organ dysfunction. MPS has a chronic and progressive course and currently has no cure.The run in conjuction with other events raised $8,500 for Kassi’s Kause. (U.S. Air Force photo)
