Colonel Harold D. Bugado is the commander, 60th Mission Support Group, Travis Air Force Base, Calif. As commander, he directs 2,200 personnel in six squadrons responsible for civil engineer, communications, contracting, logistics readiness, personnel, security, and services, supporting a base community of 135,000 personnel. He controls an annual budget of over 100 million dollars and resources exceeding five billion dollars.

Bugado was commissioned in 1990 following his graduation from the United States Air Force Academy. He began his career as a supply fuels officer at March Air Force Base, Calif., and was later selected to cross flow as an Aircraft Maintenance officer at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Bugado has commanded the 437th Supply Squadron, the 437th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., and the 455th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron at Bagram, Afghanistan. He has also deployed as the Deputy Commander of the 447th Air Expeditionary Group at Sather Air Base, Iraq, and served in a joint billet as the Commander, Defense Energy Support Center-Middle Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
