Deployed Affected Programming (DAP) - Allows all Air Force and Space Force assigned service members returning from deployments or dependent restricted assignments and their family members to participate in FSS recreational activities. Eligible family members may participate while the member is gone and upon their service member's return. Members who have deployed in support of an active operation and are on a dependent-restricted assignment, and their dependents, are eligible for this initiative. Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP):  DDRP’s mission is to prevent the use of illicit drugs among military personnel, Civil Service Employees, NAF personnel, DOD contractors, and Family Members by providing education, training, and information to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles. The Air Force zero-tolerance for illegal drugs 

requires random testing for active duty, civil service in Testing Destinated Position (TDPs), and NAF employees.  Pre-employment testing is accomplished for those seeking to secure civil service positions, promotions into TDP. As a resource for commanders, the program can provide gate and unit sweeps, probable cause, voluntary consent, and commander directed testing. The program aims to create a drug free workplace and a mission ready force.  They also provide prevention program, such as their Drug Education For Youth (DEFY) Program.

Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP-FS) Provides support services for members of Travis AFB that have a family member with special needs. EFMP-FS provides community support function provided by Military & Family Readiness Centers (M&FRC) and includes, but is not limited to, on-and off-base information and referral, parent training, support groups, relocation assistance, financial management, and school information. 

Respite Care - As of Jan 2018, Air Force EFMP Respite Care has increased from 12 to now 40 hours per month. In order to be considered, the family must be enrolled and have at least one EFMP-enrolled child under 18 y/o. Sibling care is also available up to 13 y/o. This is in-home care.

​To apply:  Your child's physician must sign, stamp, and complete an EFMP Verification Form. The physician can be military or civilian, whomever has the most oversight of your child's care. IF you have more than 1 EFMP child, you must have a form completed for each child. Contact the Family Child Care Office (510 Airlift Drive, Bldg 380B Travis AFB, 94535 or call 707.424.8104) who will be able to provide you with the EFMP Verification Form and guide you through the process for eligibility & scheduling for home interviews with prospective providers.

Medical Group - A Joint Commission-accredited teaching hospital, David Grant USAF Medical Center is the Air Force Medical Service's flagship medical treatment facility in the United States, providing a full spectrum of health care and patient-centered treatment to a prime service area population of more than 130,000 TRICARE eligible patients in the immediate San Francisco-Sacramento vicinity and more than 377,000 Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System eligibles. Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC - Adult/Child) are available to deliver short term, situational, problem-solving non-medical counseling services to all branches of the military and their families. MFLC support addresses issues that occur specifically within the military lifestyle and helps Service members and their families cope with normal reactions to the stressful/adverse situations created by deployments and reintegration. The services of MFLCs are intended to augment existing military counseling services.

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPR) - is a DoD-wide quality of life program for victims of sexual assault crimes that provides the following services:

-- Restricted Reporting: Maintains Confidentiality -- NO Commander Notification/Involvement, NO Investigation Initiated - Disclosure MUST be made to SAPR or Healthcare Provider.  Can convert to Unrestricted at any time. A Restricted Report allows you to access services for the Victim's Counsel, medical treatment, mental health, Chaplain, CATCH program and advocacy services, but does not trigger an investigation.

-- Unrestricted Reporting: Commander Notified/Involved, Investigation Initiated (OSI/Local Law Enforcement), CANNOT convert to Restricted. An Unrestricted Report allows you to access all services of the restricted report and clients may be eligible to have a Military Protective Order/Civilian Restraining Order and an Expedited Transfer.

* Victims do NOT have a restricted or unrestricted report with the SAPR Office unless they've signed the 2910 Form with the SARC or SAPR VA

* Victims can sign a declination form to NOT participate in an investigation if they file an Unrestricted Report.

--Victim Advocates are on-call 24/7 and trained to provide crisis intervention and response, information and referrals which can include on

base helping agencies or off base community resources.

Who does the Victims' Counsel work for? YOU! Victims' Counsel do not work for anyone in your wing except you, and cannot be influenced by your or the offender’s chain of command. Victims' Counsel have an independent chain of command in Washington, DC
