FAP strengthens families and enhances resiliency by helping new parents, supporting victims of domestic violence, and assisting family members.  The New Parent Support Program helps expecting parents with children up to three years of age. While, maltreatment services triage, assess, and manage referrals for child and adult intimate partner maltreatment.

Services include family needs assessments, respite care, classes, programs/events, and referrals to on-and-off base community programs/services. CYB MFLCs support families and augment child and youth programs. CYB MFLCs provide support on a variety of topics affecting children and teens, including anger and aggression, bullying, conflict resolution, divorce, self-esteem, separation, sibling and parental relationships, time management and more.

FCC offers childcare to children and youth from 2 weeks to 12 years of age. Care is provided in homes located on or off the installation that has been certified by the MSG Commander. The FCC has the ability to tailor care to fit every schedule, deployment, or special need. Additional information regarding FCC can be found on the DAF Child and Youth website or by contacting the local FCC office at this installation.

EAP supports DAF (APF, NAF, Space Force, ANG) employees and Army civilians on AF-led Joint Bases and their respective household members. Services are free, confidential, 24/7 online, in-person, by phone or virtual. MFLCs provide free confidential, short-term solution-focused non-medical and non-documented counseling to military members and immediate family members. MFLCs are licensed providers who can address relationships, stress, communication, adjustment, deployment, parenting, grief, loss, etc.  MFLCs must report instances or eminent risk of abuse, self-harm, and UCMJ infractions.

 

New Parent Support Program

A free, voluntary program that offers parenting education and support to military parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers. Services include home visits, referrals, classes, and playgroups to help families thrive and balance military life. The target audience is expectant parents and parents of children birth-3 years.

PCBH is a team-based approach that integrates behavioral health services into primary care. It involves licensed behavioral health professionals, addressing not only behavioral health and substance use disorders, but also behavioral factors that affect overall health conditions. Care can be coordinated through your PCM or by a self-referral through the appointment line.

This installation has 3 CDCs. All CDCs offer weekly and hourly (pending availability) childcare for children ages 6 weeks – 5 years.  The CDCs support the development of the whole child, teaching through active, hands-on exploration of their environment, respecting each child’s unique interest, experience, abilities and needs while providing a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn. Contact the CDC for availability and cost. Requests for full-time childcare are made via MilitaryChildCare.com.
