Peak Airmen Ministry Center: The Peak Airmen Ministry Center is open to Airmen E-1 to E-4, their spouses, and dependents 18-24 years old. The Peak is located right across the hall from the mail room in building 1348, 694 A St. The association's specific purposes are to build into the lives of junior enlisted Military are authentic community, spiritual and character development, service to others, and leadership development.


  • The Peak is open from Monday to Friday from 1730-2100 for free coffee drinks, Italian sodas or blended drinks. The Peak is an ideal location to study, play games or find community. It is also a great place to volunteer and get connected.
  • Taste of Home is a free home-cooked meal served every Wednesday from 1730-1830.
  • Compass Bible Study (Protestant/Non-denominational) follows Taste of Home on Wednesday from 1900-2000.

Attn middle/high schoolers and parents! Next week is Club Beyond Week at Travis AFB Chapel. We are excited to kick off this amazing program for 6th through 12th graders on our base! Please see the flyers below for 2 great opportunities to get to know Eric and Megan Ford, our Travis AFB Club Beyond Directors, and to find out more about the program. Wed, Dec 19th will be a parents meeting from 1900 to 2100 and Thurs, Dec 20th from 1700 to 1900 will be a Christmas Bash for all 6th through 12th graders. Spread the word!
SOULFUL SUNDOWN interfaith services begin January 2nd with a Burning Bowl ritual to usher in the new year. We will share song, poetry, and a message of unity and hope appropriate for people of all faiths. Services will be held on the first Wednesday of the month at 1830. All are invited.
Happening this week!!! Chapel Gifts Wrapping Party this Wednesday at First Street Chapel Annex @ 5:30pm. Come unload the holiday stress and enjoy a relaxing evening of fellowship with TWOC and friends while we wrap gifts for the chapel community. This is not limited to just women. Everyone is welcome! If you have wrapping paper and tape to get rid of please bring it, however there will be some already provided in addition to light refreshments! Hope to see you there! This Thursday the Travis AFB Chapel presents the Majesty in a Manger Christmas Celebration and Community Christmas dinner! Come out and join the Protestant community for a great time of fellowship, music, and Christmas cheer at The First Street Chapel from 5:30-7:30pm.
Military members and friends of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints gathered for their quarterly Family Home Evening to bid farewell to Elder and Sister Davis and hail to their replacements, Elder and Sister Stevens. Great food, great company and conversation was had by all!

Thankful for the Word is in full swing! The Protestant Community is reading the Bible in shifts outloud - cover to cover. They began reading Sunday afternoon. As of 0630 this AM, 21 readers have brought us to Deuteronomy 8.
Don't forget, our Protestant Community Bible Read-a-thon, "Thankful for the Word," begins this Sunday after the Gospel Service in First Street Chapel. All are welcome to participate. Participants will read the Bible outloud in 1/2 hour or 1 hour segments, beginning in Genesis, 24 hrs a day until we read the entire Bible. We should finish sometime on Thanksgiving morning. There is a sign-up sheet in the First Street Chapel lobby. You don't have to sign up to participate, but the sign up sheet will allow you to lock in your favorite time to read!
