Current Situation

Effective August 25, 2022, the installation commander is implementing HPCON BRAVO.

The CDC COVID-19 Community Level within Solano County recently changed to MEDIUM.  Effective immediately, Travis Air Force Base has lifted the indoor mask requirement for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status across the installation, with the exception of David Grant USAF Medical Center which will remain fully-masked in accordance with DoD policy.  The current DoD mask-wear guidance removes the requirement to continue mandatory mask wear while indoors within DoD installations or facilities as long as our Community Level remains in the Medium or Low categories.

- All exceptions from previous guidance still apply (Ex. Eating, communicating, actively working out, etc).

- INDOOR gatherings are no longer limited and all base facilities/operations should be fully open and functioning.

- If you are OUTDOORS or INDOORS, mask wear is NOT required, regardless of vaccination status except while in DGMC and the BX Pharmacy.

Continue to practice strict hygiene measures such as frequently washing and/or sanitizing hands; wiping common-use items with disinfectant; covering mouths and noses with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing; and staying home when sick. Additionally, practice social distancing and refrain from physical contact such as hand shaking, fist bumping, etc.

Regardless of CDC COVID-19 Community Level, DoD force health protection guidelines for workplace access and mask wear remain in effect for all DoD personnel with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19.
