Colonel Travis R. Bohanan is the Commander of the 60th Maintenance Group, Travis AFB, California. Colonel Bohanan enlisted in the Air Force in 1999 as an Electronics Systems Security Analyst at Brooks AFB, Texas. He was commissioned in May 2003 following his graduation from the University of South Florida. His assignments include serving as a Logistics Career Broadening Officer, an Air Mobility Squadron Director of Operations, and as a Special Actions Officer in the AMC Commander’s Action Group.
Colonel Bohanan has also served as a Squadron Commander three times: 437th Supply Chain Operations Squadron, Scott AFB, IL; 724th Air Mobility Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy; 721st Aerial Port Squadron, Ramstein Airbase, Germany. Prior to his current assignment, he was a student at National War College. Colonel Bohanan is married to the former Johna Danovi of Miami, Florida. They have two children; Jack and Grace.
