Most MDGs provide beneficiary, warrior operational medicine, and flight operational medical care. Ancillary services typically include laboratory, radiology, immunizations, and pharmacy. Each MDG operates differently, and all services may not be available for all beneficiaries. For more information, visit the MDG or the site provided.
PCMs are typically the first stop for psychotropic medication for all beneficiaries (service members, dependents, and retirees). PCMs will coordinate care with PCBH, as appropriate for medical behavioral health needs, and place referrals for specialty Mental Health. Utilize the Appointment Line to reach your PCM.
PCBH is a team-based approach that integrates behavioral health services into primary care. It involves licensed behavioral health professionals, addressing not only behavioral health and substance use disorders, but also behavioral factors that affect overall health conditions. Care can be coordinated through your PCM or by a self-referral through the appointment line.
Provides Mental Health assessment/evaluation and follow-up therapeutic service/interventions to address various mental health concerns for beneficiaries; provides prevention/outreach on various mental health-related topics, provides pre-deployment and post-injury neurocognitive assessments for military personnel, and provides Disaster Mental Health support and pre-exposure preparation for installation personnel.

IROs focus on non-clinical primary prevention of interpersonal and self-directed violence. The IRO collaboratively identifies and implements public health-informed and evidence-based prevention efforts to eliminate sexual assault, dating violence, domestic abuse, child abuse, harassment, and suicide. IROs are the OPR for the base Suicide Prevention Program, Community Climate Assessments and Comprehensive Integrated Primary Prevention (CIPP) Plan development.
