Travis planes make perfect match in air refueling over Southwest Asia

A KC-10 Extender from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., is seen from the flight deck of a C-17 Globemaster III also from Travis after an air refueling Aug. 10 over Southwest Asia. A KC-10 refueling a C-17 in a deployed environment is a rare occurrence, according to crew members of both aircraft. (Courtesy photo/Staff Sgt. Ashley Cardillo)
