Hopefully everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday filled with plenty of rest and relaxation, and an added bonus if your football team won!

Now as we enter the holiday season, the Team Travis drive and ops tempo continues at full speed!

Special welcome to Gen. and Mrs. Arthur Lichte, Air Mobility Command commander, We are truly honored to host you both and hope you find your time productive and enjoyable as you engage the fine men and women of Team Travis. We're excited to have you here!

The 60th Services Squadron hosted another AMC distinguished visitor last week. Chief Master Sgt. Michael Brown inspected our outstanding food service program, for the third consecutive year, as they compete for the coveted John L. Hennessy Award.

Kudos to Tech. Sgt. Oswald Steley, Staff. Sgt. Ginger Warner, Airman 1st Class Elizabeth Sandoval-Vega and Airman 1st Class Jeffrey Michal. You and your Sierra Inn Dining team did an incredible job! You absolutely rocked!

Also, we'd like to recognize our Pride Services partners at the Sierra Inn, led by Lisa Short, and finally our overall Sierra Inn manager, Master Sgt. Garrick Hill, for making this Hennessy Award competition possible.

Speaking of outstanding support, Team Travis graduated 19 more Airmen from Travis' Honor Guard program. Special thanks and recognition goes out to Master Sgt. Carol Robideaux, 60th/349th Air Mobility Wing Honor Guard acting superintendent, for her continued dedication to this important mission.

Finally, as the pace of this holiday season accelerates, please, be safe, have a plan, and if that plan falls through, pick up the phone and call someone!

Thank you for what you all do each and every day. You truly inspire us with your unending enthusiasm and dedication. Big, Proud, and Strong!
