Why I Lead

My inspiration to lead varies from day-to-day and moment-to-moment, but always with the same goal, to contribute and make a difference.

The sense of pride you feel knowing that you are part of something as awesome as our Air Force motivates me to do my very best.

The trust and faith our Air Force, nation and certainly my family have placed in me is the energy source I draw on daily.

Leadership certainly has its challenges, and without the honest desire to serve, the results can be lack luster at best, commitment to the “we” versus the “me” is my focus.
We all have the inherent responsibility to take leadership roles when the need arises, I would say our Air Force has been the catalyst to that realization for me.

The great thing about leadership in our Air Force is the endless opportunities, another source of inspiration.

Regardless of your rank or position there is always potential, if I don’t learn something new daily, I’ve been asleep at the wheel.

Our Air Force has certainly provided me more than I could ever hope to return – a great family, profession and way of life.

We have the best society has to offer working side-by-side with us daily. Those who have committed to service before self, willing to make any and all sacrifices for the “we,” I’m talking about the entire team, active, reserve and family inspiration all around me all the time.
