What is your inspiration and motivation to serve in the Air Force?

Inspiration to serve and lead in the Air Force may come from many sources and is varied for each Airman.

Personally, I have aspired to lead in the Air Force to make a difference.

As I have advanced to higher leadership positions I have gained motivation, energy and focus of purpose to always try to make a contribution to the defense of our nation; to growing our future military and civilian leaders; to encourage good values in our fellow Airmen; to improve the quality of life of our Airmen; to improve operations and combat capability; to ensure good stewardship of our nation’s resources; to set a good example for our society…and for my family.

Do you aspire to make a difference?

Service in the defense of our great nation is a noble profession which has both rewards and sacrifices.

We all make sacrifices for our nation in terms of deployments, family and even the potential to make the ultimate sacrifice with our life.

But, I have found that the rewards of service have far outweighed the sacrifices … and I find the greatest rewards in my career are all related to ... simply making a difference.

Do you make a difference?
