Commander seeks input on CINC funds Published Jan. 31, 2014 By Col. Corey Martin 60th Air Mobility Wing commander TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Congratulations on your success in making it to the Commander in Chief's Installation Excellence Award finals. Your hard work, innovation and constant improvement continue to make Travis "America's First Choice". Traditionally, the two Air Force finalists receive funding to improve the quality-of-life at their installations. I would like to solicit your ideas for how we should invest these funds into making Travis better. Some current ideas include: Expanding fitness paths throughout the base, increasing bicycle-friendly roads & paths, constructing restrooms at the "Blue Track", improving the base theater lobby & restrooms, enhancing base appearance with landscaping, or repairing base roads. These are just a few ideas and I encourage you to share your own thoughts. Our base leadership team will review the inputs and develop an execution plan to maximize our resources and provide the greatest impact on the quality-of-life base-wide. Thank you again for your great efforts to improve Travis and execute the mission. Suggestions may be submitted via the Sharepoint link or email to 60amwpa@us.af.mil. The deadline for suggestions is Feb. 7.
