Body found at Travis golf course Published Jan. 5, 2017 60th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – At approximately 1 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2017 a deceased male body was found at the Cypress Lakes Golf Course in Vacaville, California. The golf course is operated by the 60th Force Support Squadron at Travis Air Force Base and base emergency personnel responded to the incident. The Solano County Sherriff’s Office has taken jurisdiction over the investigation and is currently treating it as an accident. The cause of death is unknown at this time. The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24-hours after notification of next of kin. More information will be released as it becomes available.
