Driving tips Published Sept. 1, 2011 By 60th Air Mobility Wing Safety Office TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- In today's world, we face constant changes and take on more tasks than we have hours in a day. It is even more important now to inspect vehicles prior to jumping in and driving off to work or your next appointment. You may notice new discrepancies or even a potential safety hazard that can lead to disaster later on down the road. While driving about, avoid distractions and always follow posted signs. Use caution when approaching intersections, when around smaller vehicles and watch out for pedestrians. Finally, be courteous and avoid aggressive driving. Signal your intentions and always look twice before proceeding. These are just some safety tips to keep you safe on the road and to get you to your destination in one piece.
