60th FSS grabs 13 AMC awards Published Dec. 3, 2010 By 60th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Air Mobility Command recognized excellence in 2010 on Tuesday with its A1 Community Awards. The overall purpose was to recognize its best performers and best Installation-level programs by honoring each recipients and/or programs' accomplishments, commitment to excellence and results from hard work and perseverance. The 60th Force Support Squadron at Travis competed this year by submitting several outstanding packages, which proved how dedicated Team Travis is to its mission. It was announced that the 60th FSS took home 13 of the 50 awards they submitted,an amazing 26 percent more than any other base. The winners included both programs and individuals and acknowledged the outstanding effort FSS has made over the past year in improving the quality of life for all members of Team Travis! The winners included: Civilian Force Support senior civilian of the year: Brian Floyd FSS command staff technician of the year: Steven Santos Sustainment services flight manager of the year: Sonya Houston Airman and family services flight manager of the year: Mustak Keval Force development flight specialist of the year: Donald Oliver Community services flight manager of the year: Wilfred Vigil Airman and family services flight technician of the year: Terri Richardson FSS command staff specialist of the year: Sally Bouwman Team/program legacy awards Gerrit D.
