  • Monthly Hearts Apart Events
  • Created 4 Pillar Tiger Teams
  • 60AMW Family Down Day on 6 Nov.
  • Started Adopt-A-School program
  • Conducted "We Are Family Day" hosted by Maria Shriver
  • Implemented Youth Center changes for better supervision
  • Early Georgetown Housing drawdown - Officially Closed - 26 Mar 10
  • Balfour Beatty Communities & Housing Office co-located w/A&FRC
  • Extended evening hours for the A&FRC
  • Local hotel sponsored Travis Wednesdays for families of deployers
  • Contracted shuttle service for Pax Terminal through AAFES
  • Opened USO Family Room in Pax Terminal to 24-hour ops
  • Expanded AAFES Services at Pax Terminal to include food and Barber Shop
  • Provided Space-A flight information in the Westwind Inn Lobby
  • Developed new Team Travis Logo
  • Opened Dining Facility to Retirees and their families
  • Implemented monthly Team Travis Partner Breakfasts
  • Revamped Honorary Commander Program
  • Reinvigorated Air Force Heritage Center plan
  • Instituted Dorm of the Quarter Program & enhanced other dorm programs
  • Held Travis Youth Fun Week during Travis USD week-long furlough
  • Implemented daily CDC Walk-In Care Option
  • Conducted Honorary Commander's Boot Camp
  • Instituted Spouse Mentoring Program (Spouse-2-Spouse)
  • Instituted Airman Mentoring Program (Adopt-An-Airman)
  • Expanded hours at Fitness Facility to 24/7
  • Opened Fit Family Zone and Peeps Drop In care at Base Gym
  • Opened the swimming pool two weeks early and made it free for all
  • Reinvigorated First Fridays--all ranks celebration at the Delta Breeze Club
  • Created a Team Travis Float and participated in 4 community parades
  • Created 3 new options for 1.5 mile run venues on base
  • Waged a War on DUIs--created a DUI Battle Plan with ALCON Conditions
  • Started the Military Medallion Program with local Chambers of Commerce
  • Initiated Anti-tobacco Policy in the Dorms
  • Stood Up Fitness Assessment Cell 6 months early
  • Conducted Revamped Retiree Appreciation Day
  • Offered Deployed Spouses Dinners
  • Hosted Special Needs Summer Carnival
  • Improved Spouse Employment Opportunities through Partnerships with AFAS, CPO, ASYMCA, Spouse Employment Program, and Workforce Investment Board
  • Introduced FSS Web Site for Better Information Dissemination
  • Offered "Deplayment" Event for Children
  • Instituted DGMC Youth Ambassador Program
  • Energized Base-Wide Summer Youth Voluntary Program
