The Travis Employee Assistance Program is a program available to help employees with personal and work-related issues that may impact their work performance or behavior as well as providing educational and prevention classes, seminars and events.

The EAP counselor in the Life Skills Center will assist in assessing the situation, finding options, making choices or referral to a professional who can help with emotional health issues.

The employee may receive one free initial voluntary assessment. If further counseling is required or there is a need for long-term counseling or treatment, the employee is referred for treatment with a community service or professional resource under the conditions of their health insurance plan. The Travis Employee Assistance Program is voluntary and confidential. For more information, contact Shenethia Carter at 424-1721.
