New babies don't come with an owner's manual. Feeding and diaper changing are new experiences for first-time fathers. At Boot Camp for New Dads, first-time fathers receive training to become experienced dads.

Invest in one, three-hour workshop, taught by experienced, veteran dads who bring their own babies to help familiarize new dads.

The Boot Camp for New Dads program is designed to provide information and valuable skill sets to new fathers. The coach works as the facilitator, veteran dads and babies assist rookie dads.

If interested in becoming a facilitator for Boot Camp for New Dads, training is scheduled for July 15 from noon to 4 p.m. and July 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Chapel One Annex.

Coaches will be required to attend both days and asked to facilitate at least one workshop a year. Workshops are offered every quarter.

If interested in attending the training and/or workshop, contact the Family Advocacy Program at 423-5168.
