AFPC Spread the Word teams to brief Travis

An Air Force Personnel Center "Spread the Word" briefing team arrives at Travis May 27. 

All briefings are scheduled for 8:30 a.m and 2 p.m. at the base theater. Although everyone is encouraged to attend either briefing, but in an attempt to evenly distribute the number of individuals, the 60th Air Mobility Wing Staff agencies, 60th Mission Support Group, 60th Operations Group, 615th Contingency Response Wing Staff agencies, 15th Air Mobility Operations Squadron and the 570th Contingency Response Group are slotted for the 8:30 a.m. briefing with the 60th Medical Group, 60th Maintenance Group, 571st Contingency Response Group and 572nd Contingency Response Group for the 2 p.m. briefing. Please attend either briefing if you are not a member of the previously mentioned groups.

Our AFPC teams look forward to sharing useful information with you and receiving feedback on what's important to you," said Maj. Gen. K.C. McClain, AFPC commander. 

The Spread the Word briefing provides information on personnel issues and delivery transformation, as well as allows all Air Force members direct, face-to-face contact with AFPC personnel to address concerns and provide feedback. 

Specific topics covered in the Spread the Word briefings will include, among others, 365-day deployment options, the Global Air Expeditionary Force tempo-banding system, civilian hiring procedures and assignment processes. The teams also include military and civilian assignments experts, as well as deployment experts, who will be available for questions after each "Spread the Word" briefing session.
