Mixed Martial Arts returns to Travis

Fresh on the heels of its inaugural Mixed Martial Arts night Travis Fury, the 60th Force Support Squadron is once again offering members of Travis Air Force Base a night of MMA action. 

"Operation TKO," is scheduled for May 2 at the Travis Fitness Center. This is a pro/amateur MMA event with the battles being fought in a cage. This event is intended to entertain Team Travis. Tickets are $40 for advanced sales or $45 the day of the event and are available exclusively at the Travis Fitness Center. 

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m. The event is set for 10 bouts of hard-hitting MMA action. 

The main event is Kenneth Alexander versus Muzimal Khan. The co-main events are Rico Altamirano battling Doug Defenderier, Terry "No Mercy" Broughton takes on Chris Sheridan, and Mike Peterson duels with Jose Briseno. Undercard and amateur combatants include Chris Sulamo, Jason Wayne Kinross, James Reed, Josh Fry, Chris Tangonan, Daniel Oseguera, Steve Ronneberg, Haizam Golez, Damon Creal, Daniel Hodges, Justin Castrillo, Tony Amaya and Josh Paiva. 

An after party will immediately follow at the Delta Breeze Club. 

Members of Team Travis are invited to watch the official weigh-ins May 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Delta Breeze Club in the Enlisted Lounge.
