The Military Training Instructor Recruiting Team will host an MTI duty briefing Dec. 4 at 8:30 a.m. in the 6th Air Refueling Squadron Auditorium, Bldg. 181, Room 241 for those interested in joining the career field.

The briefing is opened to E-3s with at least 24 months time in service, through E-6s with less than 16 years total active federal military service. Enlisted personnel from all Air Force Specialty Codes that meet the previously identified criteria are eligible to apply for these positions and are encouraged to attend. Spouses of potential applicants are also invited. Members of the recruiting team will conduct the briefing.

"Everyone remembers their MTI," said Tech. Sgt. Danica Eusay, MTI Recruiting Team NCOIC. "The MTI sets the stage for each individual's success in the Air Force and mentors hundreds of new Airmen. The job is filled with substantial rewards for those who want to have a hand in molding our future enlisted leaders. Along with these intangible benefits, MTIs also are entitled to special duty pay, annual supplemental clothing allowance and more."

The team can expedite the processing of an applicant's special duty application if they bring a completed application to the briefing. To obtain a copy of the AETC special duty application, contact the wing career advisor, Master Sgt. Chantel Parker at 424-7829.
