New office provides customer service to base Published Aug. 13, 2008 Military Personnel Element TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Due to numerous changes in personnel since July 1, many have asked the question "What happened to our group command support section?" The recent transition from individual command support sections to the newly consolidated Military Personnel Element is now complete and the MPE is making strong strides towards better customer support for Team Travis. The MPE customer service desk was implemented to achieve "one-stop" service for all personnel-related questions. Just like any help desk, this office should be the first source of information when dealing with the MPE. The professionals in this office are prepared to answer all personnel-related questions. The MPE also gives a centralized location to turn-in documents and schedule appointments to meet with specific offices as necessary.
