Operation Gratitude volunteers needed Published May 12, 2008 By Staff Sgt. Elke Bentley 349th Mission Support Squadron TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The 349th Air Mobility Wing Top 3 council will host the eighth annual Operation Gratitude June 14 at 10 a.m. at the Yountville Veterans Home in Yountville, Calif. The event will honor veterans for the service and sacrifices made while serving in the military. Last year, more than 130 volunteers took part in the event and raised approximately $5,000 in donations. This year, volunteers are needed to assist with setting up, cooking, escorting, serving and clean up. It is requested that volunteers show up at the veteran's home at 7:30 a.m. in the uniform of the day (BDUs, blues or flight suits.) For those interested in volunteering, contact Master Sgt.
