Special Agent James Collins, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, speaks after receiving the Airman's Medal, the Bronze Star and the Air Force Combat Action Medal Jan. 15. Special Agent Collins received the Airman's Medal for rescuing troops in Iraq after a helicopter crashed into a lake. Special Agent Collins is credited with assisting in the rescue and life-saving efforts of 10 of the 14 passengers and crew.
