What are three things any business must have in order to be successful?

Location, location, location.

To better serve their customers, the Leisure Travel Annex branched out to the Base Exchange, next to Baskin Robins.

The agency still has an office at the less known location at the Outdoor Recreation center, however, the new location should provide easier access.

"We are here to provide a service to the community. If people don't know where we are, we can't provide that service," said Mrs. Georgie Ellis, Leisure Travel Manager.

The LTA offers discounts for active-duty, retired, family members and DoD civilians for hotel vouchers, cruises, airplane tickets, rental vehicles and other leisure activities.

"I found this travel agency helpful - when it comes to leisure travel you can't beat them," said Capt. Joseph Foster, customer visiting from Barksdale Air Force Base, La.

Mrs. Ellis encourages people to compare LTA prices with the internet.

"Ninety-nine percent of the time we can offer discounted rates. We offer great discounts on hotels and car rentals. I haven't found anybody that can beat the car rental prices," Mrs. Ellis said.

"Our job is to save money and I think we do a pretty good job of that," she added.

This value and dedication is noticeable by the customers.

"I'm going on another cruise through them. They go above and beyond to find the best deals and the customer service is outstanding," said Mrs. Sandra Cardwell, LTA customer.

The agency has been at the new location since July 23. However, the grand opening will is Aug. 23.

A one night stay in Santa Clara and two tickets to Great America theme park will be given away along with T-shirts and travel bags.

The agency is opened Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
