Tech. Sgt. Christy Schultz, 9th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, prepares to load a pallet of new cargo containers by installing the doorsill conveyors along the edge of the aircraft cargo entrance. This technique allows the cargo pallets to be rolled from the “K-loader” into the aircraft cargo area. Tech. Sgt. Christy Schultz, 9th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, guides “K-loader” driver, Senior Airman Eric Dunning, 60th Aerial Port Squadron transportation specialist, as he positions his “K-loader” carrying the new cargo containers up to a KC-10 cargo doorway. The pallets on the loader each had a different configuration and were separately moved onto the aircraft cargo area where a fit test was performed. The containers are part of a Joint Modular Inter-Modal Distribution System Aircraft Loading technical demonstration being tested by U.S. Transportation Command. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
