A reception for the returning Airmen and their families was held in Bldg. 181. “This was the best homecoming I think the squadron has ever had,” said Staff Sgt. Ryan Cramer, 60th Operations Support Squadron, event coordinator. “Everyone from the commander to friends and family were involved. The atmosphere was a feeling of relief and happiness. We are glad to have them home,” he said. During the most recent Air Expeditionary Force cycle, Travis deployed more than 300 Airmen in support of OIF and OEF. “I’m proud of the job we did and you can ask anybody in uniform here and they will tell you the same,” said Master Sgt. Kevin Williams, 660th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. This group of Airmen marks the beginning of Travis’ deployers returning home.
