Travis Air Expo 2008

Team Travis will host their Air Expo 2008 open house August 30-31. The theme for this patriotic show featuring current airpower is "Above All...Celebrating Air Power Over the Golden West." 

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Aerial Demonstration Team and the U.S. Army Golden Knights. This year, the Thunderbirds celebrate 55 years of representing the more than 500,000 Airmen, National Guardsmen and Reservists worldwide. There will be numerous other aerial demonstrations, static display aircraft, military hardware and concessions. Please no coolers, backpacks or pets. Parking is free to all. 

Valid members of the media wishing to get credentialed should contact the 60th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs office at 707-424-2011. This means a bona fide media outlet must employ you or you must be specifically commissioned in writing with a letter of assignment by such a firm to cover Air Expo 2008. 

Examples of media outlets include newspapers, magazines, journals, TV and radio stations, documentary production companies, officially recognized Internet portals, etc.
