Thunderbirds, Golden Knights to perform at 2008 Air Show

Travis will host the 2008 Air Show Aug. 30 to 31, a free event open to the public.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the Air Force's premier aerial demonstration team and the U.S. Army's Golden Knights parachute team are already scheduled for the show. 

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds team plans and presents precision aerial maneuvers to exhibit the capabilities modern high-performance aircraft and the high degree of professional skill required to operate those aircraft.

For more than 44 years the "Golden Knights" have been wowing audiences at air shows, competitions and most recently, with high profile tandems. The two demonstration teams travel all over the country performing aerial demonstrations at air shows and special events in support of Army recruiting goals.
