Airman Death Published Feb. 23, 2006 By 020603 FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- An Airman from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. died Friday when two CH-53 helicopters crashed into the Gulf of Aden in the vicinity of Ras Siyyan, northern Djibouti, while flying a training mission in the Godoria Range area. Senior Airman Alecia S. Good, 23, of Dixon, Calif. was assigned to the 92nd Communications Squadron, Fairchild AFB. Good was a tactical radio operator/maintainer deployed to Djibouti on Feb. 8 as part of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
