Carnell 60th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Travis held its 10th annual event to raise autism awareness at the Balfour Beatty building May 18, 2018. The event hosted approximately 175 active-duty and reservist personnel as well as local retirees and military dependents. The event consisted of an awareness walk, dinner and a raffle. The Exceptional Family Member Program and Special Needs Task Force host events to raise awareness for different causes. The Travis Special Needs Task Force was established to assist military families handling the daily challenges of raising a special needs child.
