Paintball--innovative comprehensive fitness Published June 1, 2012 By Ben Kreulen 60th Force Support Squadron TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Paintball is an exciting game during which teams work together to eliminate other teams by marking them with paint. It's a character-building sport played by men, women and children. Key elements to winning the game include quick thinking, communication and determination; not merely strength, body type or age. Paintball offers healthy competition and teaches team-building and leadership skills. It's a great way to renew your spirit of adventure and fulfill the social pillar of Comprehensive Airmen Fitness. Located on base, Xtreme Paintball consists of 20 acres with 11 playing fields ranging from large scenario fields to speedball fields. The fields can be combined to enhance the playing experience and are constantly being updated. With the best prices in the area, XPB is capable of hosting events with groups ranging in size from two to 400 people. In addition, Xtreme Paintball offers three-hour prescheduled reservations Sunday through Friday for $250. This reservation fee includes admission, rental equipment, unlimited air fills for 10 people and 2,000 paintballs. The above reservation package makes for an excellent and innovative team building adventure. Additional items can be purchased on the day of the event.
