Well you're in luck. As we celebrate October's National Physical Therapy Month, we are excited to host the base-wide Functional Movement Screen Injury Prevention Seminar and Open House in the Physical Therapy Department. Active duty, dependents and retirees are invited to join us at the base gym Oct. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to understand how to prevent injuries tailored to your own unique movement dysfunctions by performing a custom functional movement screen. We will host our Open House in the Physical Therapy Department at David Grant USAF Medical Center on Oct. 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 1p.m. where you can come and ask the experts about your own personal fitness. Come learn about the various treatments physical therapy has to offer, become the winner of a pushup competition and many more fun exercise, display stations and food and prizes.
