A KC-10 Extender from Travis Air Force Base, California, refuels a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet over the Pacific Ocean July 14, 2017. KC-10s from Travis AFB supported Exercise Talisman Saber 2017 by conducting various air refueling missions over Australia. TS17 is a biennial exercise in Australia that focuses on bilateral military training between U.S. Pacific Command forces and the Australian Defence Force to improve U.S.-Australia combat readiness, increase interoperability, maximize combined training opportunities and conduct maritime prepositioning and logistics operations in the Pacific.
