The 6th ARS In-Flight Refueling Section was presented the award during the 39th Annual Boom Operator’s Symposium, which was held at Altus AFB, Okla., from April 27 – 29. The award is given annually to the most outstanding air refueling section in the Air Force. The 6th ARS has been awarded the honor six times, more than any other Air Force unit.
