A U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft takes off June 13, 2019, at Travis Air Force Base, California. As the Air Force’s largest strategic airlifter, the C-5M can carry more cargo farther distances than any other aircraft. With roughly 3,300 aircraft continuously arriving and departing on a monthly basis, Travis handles more cargo and passenger traffic than any other military air terminal in the United States.
