Damaged roof
Severe winds and rain damaged a large portion of the roof above Travis Elementary School's multipurpose room. The damage resulted in large amounts of water leaking into the room. Honoring Veterans
At exactly 12:30 p.m., Nov. 11, 2016, a C-17 Globemaster III from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., flies over downtown Fairfield, Calif., marking the start of the city’s Veterans Day Parade. A color guard formation from the TAFB Honor Guard led the Travis portion of the parade, followed by the U. S. Air Force Band of the Golden West Marching Band, a formation of Airmen and the grand marshal, Col. John Klein Jr., 60th Air Mobility Wing commander joined by his wife and daughter.
