Opening day

Saturday was a day filled with baseballs, gloves and bats as Travis' Little League Baseball celebrated this season's opening day. The Equestrian Center provided three horses for kids to ride on and Dinger, the Rivercats mascot, also made an appearance at the event. The opening ceremonies concluded with the field being rededicated in honor of Nick Bower, a Travis Little Leaguer who was killed by a drunken driver in 1996. (Photo by Staff Sgt.
