Chief Master Sgt. Terry Monges from the 79th Aerial Refueling Squadron receives a flu vaccine by mist inhalant from Staff Sgt. Dorcas Stokes, 60th Medical Operations Squadron Allergy/Immunization Clinic technician at the David Grant USAF Medical Center. The seasonal influenza vaccine is a mandatory DOD requirement for all military personnel. A mass seasonal nasal flu vaccine clinic will be held at the Airmen and Family Readiness Center Sept. 29 through Oct. 3 from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. A second session for all TRICARE customers and Department of Defense employees will also be held at the AFRC Nov. 2-4 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For family members and children, three separate Wednesday sessions at the Youth Center will take place Oct. 28, Nov. 4 and Nov. 18 from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additionally, a weekend flu vaccination clinic for retirees is scheduled for Nov. 14-15 at the Mini Mall and Main BX respectively from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (U.S. Air Force photo/Jim Spellman)
