Chief Master Sgt. Alan G. Boling, 60th Air Mobility Wing command chief, far left, poses for a photo with students of the Sgt. Paul P. Ramoneda Airman Leadership School class 15-G in front of the Oath of Enlistment Wall. ALS class 15-G, with the help of Airmen from the 60th Maintenance Squadron and 60th Civil Engineer Squadron, gave the wall a much needed face lift over the past six months. The group of 38 Airmen helped refurbish the wall, which was originally built in 1999. The wall reflects the Oath of Enlistment inscribed on it which reminds readers each time we take that oath, to remember what being a member of the Armed Forces all is about. It represents our purpose, and it's very fitting that it's surrounded by all the state flags, representing our diverse force and introduction to the Profession of Arms. The enlisted stripes that run down the center of the monument are set in granite and symbolize the strength of our enlisted force. (U.S. Air Force photo/T.C. Perkins)
