Wing leadership, local civic leaders celebrate Peabody Road opening

Steve Alexander, area manager for Cemex, and Bart White, construction foreman for Teichert erect the flag prior to the Peabody Road reopening ceremony in Fairfield, Calif., Aug. 4, 2016. The road was closed for 14-months and finished ten days ahead of schedule. Peabody Road is a major thoroughfare that connects the cities of Vacaville and Fairfield, more than 20,000 vehicles per day use the road and it is also a major artery into Travis Air Force Base for more than 14,000 employees.
