C-130 Hercules

A C-130 Hercules from the Nevada Air National Guard’s 152nd Airlift Wing conducts flight operations at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., Jan, 13, 2017. The C-130 Hercules is a workhorse for the Air Force. It has been in service for more than half a century. Designed specifically to transport troops and equipment into combat zones, the Hercules operates throughout the U.S. Air Force serving with Air Mobility Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Combat Command, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa, Pacific Air Forces, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command, fulfilling a wide range of operational missions.
