Travis, Army transports Black Hawks to Alaska
A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk waits to be loaded up into a C-5M Super Galaxy as part of full-spectrum readiness training January 13 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The Black Hawks’ normal transport is the C-17 Globemaster III, but the C-5M was offered as transport to the Army in the interest of full-spectrum readiness training for Travis’ C-5M personnel.
